| Glen Rock surged to a 4-0 lead by the halftime intermission and went on to rout Immaculate Conception/Lodi 7-0 in a B-PSL girls' soccer match. Maria Treacy fueled the Lady Panthers' attack, netting a pair of goals and dishing off two assists. Liz Campbell chipped in with a goal and assist while Megan Glass, Xima Grube, Meghan Miehe and Allysa Pompeo contributed solo goals. Ashley Tourso and Samantha Trotta were credited with two assists apiece while a trio of keepers shared time between the pipes. Darcy Rose, Kalil Babin and Taylor DeMaio each stopped one shot on goal. |
| Keeper Matt Asian was peppered with 17 shots, coming up with 13 saves as the Panthers were blanked 4-0 by Garfield in a B-PSL boys soccer match last Wednesday in Garfield. |

| Glen Rock surged out of the blocks in posting back-to-back victories to open the 2006 boys' soccer season. The Panthers edged Lodi 5-4 on Friday and followed with a 5-2 triumph over Elmwood Park on Monday afternoon. |
| After leading by two goals, Glen Rock's defense wavered and Lodi erupted for three straight goals to take a 4-3 lead. Matt Beverin knotted the game and Pabla Saldia tallied the game-winning goal with 23 seconds remaining on the game clock. |
| On Monday afternoon in Elmwood Park, the Panthers upped their B-PSL record to 2-0 by jumping out to a 2-0 lead by the halftime break. Sam Petrone, who was on a recruiting visit to Clemson on opening day, made his presence known immediately, riddling the Crusaders' cage with four goals. Beverin chipped in with a goal and assist while Matt Patoir, Ben Probert, Saldia and Carl Stofberg distributed assists. Matt Asian and David Sorenson shared time between the pipes with both credited with three saves. |

| Maria Treacy snapped a scoreless stalemate on Saturday night in Denville when she scored in overtime as Glen Rock edged Morris Catholic in a non-conference clash of two of New Jersey's top girls' soccer programs that was totally missed by all the major daily newspapers. Keeper Taylor DeMaio excelled between the pipes, blanking the high-profile Crusaders under the lights on their own turf. |
| Glen Rock exploded for six unanswered first half goals in routing Manchester Regional 8-0 in the season opener on Friday. The Lady Panthers used three goalkeepers, DeMaio, Darcy Ross and Kalil Babin, who combined for six saves in posting the shutout. Treacy turned in a hat trick effort to power the attack, netting three goals. Liz Campbell, Renee DeSimmone, Christina Gallin, Megan Glass and Meghan Miehe added solo goals. Campbell dished off a pair of assists while Gallin, Miehe, Lindsay Nygren and Allysa Pompeo picked up assists. |
